After breakfast, your guide takes you to the Ancient Pyramids of Giza. Begin with the Great Pyramid, then continue to the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, learning how each complex was planned and built as a royal burial site. You also stop at the Sphinx, where the carved lion body and human head face the pyramid fields. Allow several hours here; the paths include uneven ground and open areas with limited shade.
