Egypt 9-Day Tour with Nile Cruise & Alexandria

After breakfast, your guide takes you to Giza's Ancient Pyramids, beginning with the Great Pyramid before continuing to the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure. Fly from Cairo to Aswan and begin exploring Aswan's Historical Sites with your guide. The day starts with the Aswan High Dam, a major modern engineering project that changed the movement of water and agriculture along the Nile. Continue to the Philae Temple Sanctuary, reached by boat on an island, where reliefs honour Isis and other deities. The island setting makes this visit different from the desert temples seen elsewhere.

Depending on the cruise schedule and operating arrangements, an early road excursion to Abu Simbel's Colossal Temples can be added before you board. Continue to the Citadel of Qaitbay, built on the waterfront near the site traditionally linked with the ancient Pharos lighthouse. From the fort, you can look across the harbour and see how Alexandria’s position shaped its history. If operating hours and access allow, the programme can also include the Bibliotheca Alexandrina area. If you do not dive, the day remains free for swimming where permitted, a Corniche walk or quiet time at the hotel. At the agreed time, our team collects you from the hotel and transfers you to the airport or onward connection point.
