1) Day 1 - Arrival in Cairo and Transfer to Your Hotel
A representative from A1toureg will meet you at Cairo International Airport and assist with your arrival. You will then be transferred to your hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle for an overnight stay.
2) Day 2 - Exploring the Pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian Museum
You will be picked up from your Cairo hotel by our expert guide for an exciting day exploring the Pyramids of Giza, including the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. Next, visit the iconic Great Sphinx, dating back to the Old Kingdom, followed by the Valley Temple. Afterward, head to the Egyptian Museum, home to an extraordinary collection of over 250,000 artifacts, some dating back 5,000 years. Highlights include the exclusive Tutankhamun exhibit, featuring treasures, gold, and jewelry that remained hidden in his tomb for over 3,500 years before being uncovered in 1922. Please note, the entrance fee to the Mummy Room is not included. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.
3) Day 3 - Cairo to Aswan and Nile Cruise
You will be picked up from your hotel in Cairo and transferred to Cairo Airport for a short flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your Nile cruise for embarkation and lunch on board. Afterward, enjoy a visit to the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis and considered the last temple built in the classical Egyptian style. You will also explore the High Dam, a major engineering marvel that controls the Nile's flow and creates Lake Nasser, and the Unfinished Obelisk, which offers insight into ancient Egyptian stoneworking.
At 16:00, take a relaxing sailing trip on a Felucca around Elephantine Island and visit Lord Kitchener Island. For those interested, there is an optional excursion to the Nubian village, a colorful and authentic area offering a unique cultural experience. You will spend around two hours discovering the art, culture, and charm of the village.
Dinner will be served on board, followed by an overnight stay on the cruise.
4) Day 4: Aswan - Abu Simbel & Nile Cruise
Enjoy breakfast and lunch onboard the Nile Cruise. Early morning departure from Aswan for a visit to the majestic Abu Simbel Temples. The two temples, built by Ramses II and Queen Nefertari, were carved into the mountainside on the west bank of the Nile between 1274 and 1244 BC. The Great Temple is dedicated to Ramses II, Ra-Harakhty, Amun Ra, and Ptah, with four colossal statues. The smaller temple was dedicated to Queen Nefertari and Goddess Hathor. Both temples were dismantled and relocated to higher ground to prevent them from being submerged by the rising waters of Lake Nasser. This monumental preservation project is regarded as one of UNESCO's greatest achievements.
At 1:00 PM, sail towards Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, located 40 km north of Aswan, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus. This temple complex dates back primarily to the Ptolemaic and Roman periods (332 BC - 395 AD).
Continue sailing to Edfu, where you'll spend the night.

5) Day 5 – Edfu Temple & Luxor Temple Visit

7) Day 7 – Explore Old Cairo and International Departure
Your tour will begin with a pick-up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza at 8:00 AM, accompanied by your expert Egyptologist guide. You'll head to the Saladin Citadel, a historic fortress built by Salah al-Din in 1183 AD on the Moqattam Hills to defend against Crusader armies. The citadel offers stunning views of Cairo and is home to several important mosques and museums, including the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha. Designed by the Turkish architect Yousif Boushnaq, the mosque's striking alabaster structure stands out against the city's sandstone buildings.
Afterward, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Old Cairo. Following lunch, explore the historic sites of Old Cairo, including the Hanging Church, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Church of St. Barbara, and the Church of Abu Serga-one of the oldest Coptic churches in the city.
