Karnak is not just a temple; it is a vast complex of sanctuaries, kiosks, pylons, and obelisk all dedicated to the ancient Theban gods and the glory of Egypt’s pharaohs. As the most significant site for the worship of the Theban Triad (Amun, Mut, and Khonsu), Karnak Temple is a must-see historical marvel.
Next, explore the Luxor Temple, primarily constructed by Amenhotep III of the New Kingdom and completed by Tutankhamun and Ramses II. The First Pylon of the Luxor Temple was erected by Ramses II and adorned with depictions of his famous Battle of Kadesh.

5) Day 5- Valley of the Kings Tour:

Once called the "Great Place of the Truth," the valley is now known as the Valley of the Kings. This majestic site is the final resting place of Egypt's most powerful pharaohs, who were entombed in grand stone sarcophagi, awaiting immortality. The valley is dominated by the Pyramid-Shaped Mountain Peak behind Deir el Bahri.
Next, visit the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues rising 18 meters from the plain, remnants of what was once the largest complex on the West Bank, built by Amenhotep III.
Then, explore the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an extraordinary monument that rises from the desert plain in a series of terraces. This temple merges beautifully with the sheer limestone cliffs of the eastern face of the Theban Mountains, giving the impression that nature itself helped build this wonder.
Optional: Hot Air Balloon Ride over the Valley of the Kings for $80 per person.
After these captivating visits, sail to the Esna Lock at 13:00, where you will have a lunch on board during the sail. Arrive at Esna Lock at 18:00, then continue sailing towards Edfu, where you will enjoy a delicious dinner before an overnight stay on board.

Built during the Ptolemaic period, the temple is located on the site of an earlier temple dating back to the reign of Ptolemy III (246 B.C.). The walls of the temple depict the famous myth of Horus and Seth, likely performed as an annual religious drama.
At 09:30, you will sail to Kom Ombo. Enjoy a lunch on board during the sail at 12:30. At 15:30, you will arrive in Kom Ombo, where you’ll visit the Kom Ombo Temple, located 40 km north of Aswan. Next, visit the Aswan High Dam, located at the border of Egypt and Sudan, where you'll learn about this impressive rock-fill dam. Completed in 1968, it created Lake Nasser, one of the world’s largest artificial lakes.
