    Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, an A1toureg representative will meet and assist you. Enjoy a smooth transfer to your hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle, ensuring a comfortable start to your journey. The rest of the day is free at leisure, allowing you to relax or explore Cairo at your own pace.     2) Day 2- Pyramids of Giza and Cairo Museum:

    After breakfast, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Cairo by our expert tour guide for a remarkable day of exploration. First, you'll visit the famous Pyramids of Giza, including Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus, followed by a visit to the majestic Great Sphinx, a symbol of ancient Egypt. You'll also explore the Valley Temple, one of the most impressive structures near the pyramids. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Giza before you continue your journey to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities in Tahrir Square, home to over 250,000 rare artifacts, including treasures of Tutankhamun. These treasures were buried in his tomb for over 3,500 years, rediscovered in 1920. If you wish to visit the Mummies Hall, you can ask your tour guide for an optional visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (additional 200 Egyptian Pounds). Note that the new Grand Egyptian Museum is expected to open in 2021 or 2022. End the day with an optional Sound and Light Show at the Giza Pyramids for an extra cost of $40 per person.     3) Day 3- Cairo to the White Desert:

    Start your exciting adventure at 06:00 AM with a pick-up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza. You will drive to Bahariya Oasis, located about 350 km east of Cairo, which takes approximately 4 hours. During the journey, enjoy breaks for a WC stop and coffee. Upon arrival at 10:00 AM, you will board a 4x4 jeep for a thrilling drive through the Black Desert.

    At 12:00 PM, enjoy a delicious lunch in El Haize Oasis, then continue your journey towards the mesmerizing Valley of Agabat.

    At 15:00 PM, you will arrive at the Valley of Agabat, a truly stunning part of the White Desert. Feel the magical atmosphere of this place, which was once submerged under the sea millions of years ago. Over time, the landscape has transformed into unique limestone and chalk formations, creating an otherworldly beauty.

    At 16:30 PM, explore White Desert National Park, one of Egypt’s most famous desert destinations. As the sun sets, enjoy the changing colors of the sky, from pink to fiery orange. The beauty of the surroundings is truly breathtaking.

    4) Day 4- White Desert & Bahariya Oasis - Cairo

    06:00 AM: Start your day by enjoying the beautiful sunrise over the White Desert.

    09:00 AM: After sunrise, enjoy a delicious breakfast in the desert before setting off for Bahariya Oasis.

    On the way, visit Crystal Mountain (Gebel al-Izzaz): This stunning natural feature, often called the Jewel of the Desert, is made up of sparkling quartzite crystals that shine brightly in the sun. Discovered by accident just a few decades ago, it’s a must-see spot in the desert.

    11:00 AM: Continue your journey to Bahariya Oasis. Once there, relax at Bir Sigam, a natural hot spring located 9 km east of Bahariya. Known for its soothing heat, this spring is especially popular for relaxation. During the summer months, you can also stop at Bir Madi, a cold spring, for a refreshing change.

    12:00 PM: Afterward, drive back to Cairo.

    4:30 PM: Arrive in Cairo.

    Discover the rich history of Bahariya Oasis with a visit to the Museum of the Golden Mummies, the Bawiti tombs, and the Temple of Alexander the Great. You will also visit the tombs of Bannentiu and Djed-Ankh-Amun-Iuf at Qasr Selim, which were discovered by the renowned archaeologist Ahmed Fakhry in 1939. Explore Bawiti, the capital of Bahariya, and enjoy a delicious lunch before heading back to Cairo.

    5) Day 5- Cairo to Aswan & Nile Cruise

    Start your day with a pick-up from your hotel in Cairo and take a flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, transfer to your Nile cruise ship for embarkation. Enjoy lunch on board as you begin your cruise journey.

    In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and learn about its history as the last temple built in the classical Egyptian style. Then, head to the Aswan High Dam, an engineering marvel built between 1960 and 1968, which forms Lake Nasser and regulates the flow of the Nile River. Next, visit the Unfinished Obelisk in the Northern Quarries, where you can see a nearly completed obelisk that provides valuable insight into ancient Egyptian stoneworking techniques.

    After your sightseeing, enjoy a relaxing Felucca boat ride around Elephantine Island, and visit Lord Kitchener Island, known for its lush gardens. Later, take a trip to the Nubian Village, where you can explore the vibrant, colorful houses and experience the authentic culture of the Nubian people.

    6) Day 6- Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo & Edfu

    Start your day with breakfast on board the cruise as you prepare for a visit to Abu Simbel.

    Visit Abu Simbel Temples:
    The two famous temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari were carved into the mountainside on the west bank of the Nile between 1274 and 1244 BC. The Great Temple is dedicated to Ramses II and several gods, including Ra-Harakhty, Amun Ra, and Ptah, and features four massive statues of the king. The second temple is dedicated to Queen Nefertari and the goddess Hathor. In the 1960s, the temples were carefully dismantled and relocated to higher ground to prevent flooding from the Aswan High Dam, marking one of UNESCO's greatest preservation achievements.

    Lunch: Enjoy lunch on board the cruise.

    Sail to Kom Ombo:
    Next, sail to Kom Ombo, located 40 km north of Aswan. Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, which was dedicated to the gods Sobek (the crocodile god) and Horus (the falcon god). The temple was mainly built during the Ptolemaic and Roman periods (332 BC - 395 AD).

    Sail to Edfu:
    After visiting Kom Ombo, continue your sail to Edfu.

    Overnight in Edfu:
    Enjoy dinner and a traditional Galabiya Party on board the cruise as you spend the night in Edfu.

    7) Day 7- Edfu & Luxor Temples

    Begin your day with breakfast on board the Nile cruise before heading to Edfu Temple around 08:00. You’ll enjoy a horse carriage ride to this well-preserved temple, dedicated to the hawk-god Horus. Built during the Ptolemaic period, this temple stands on the site of an older one dating back to the reign of Ptolemy III (246 BC). The walls of the temple depict the myth of Horus and Seth, often performed as a religious drama. Return to the cruise by 10:00 for lunch.

    At 10:30, sail towards Luxor through the Esna Lock, arriving at 18:00. Once in Luxor, visit the Luxor Temple, mostly built by Pharaoh Amenhotep III, and completed by Tutankhamun and Ramses II. The First Pylon of the temple, constructed by Ramses II, is adorned with scenes of his military victory at the Battle of Kadesh.

    After the visit, enjoy dinner on board and relax overnight. For an additional experience, you can opt for the Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple for $40 per person.

    8) Day 8- Luxor to Cairo

    Start your day with a delicious breakfast on board your Nile cruise. For an unforgettable experience, you can opt for a hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings for $80 per person, providing breathtaking aerial views of this ancient burial site.

    After breakfast, you will visit Luxor’s West Bank, home to some of Egypt’s most famous monuments. The Valley of the Kings, once known as the "Great Place of Truth," is where the Pharaohs were laid to rest in massive stone sarcophagi. Surrounded by pyramid-shaped mountain peaks, the valley is one of Egypt’s most awe-inspiring historical sites. You will also see the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues that once guarded the largest temple complex on the West Bank, built by Pharaoh Amenhotep III. The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a stunning structure carved into the cliffs of the Theban Mountain, is one of the most extraordinary monuments in Egypt, rising from the desert in a series of terraces.     A truly unforgettable tour. The itinerary covers everything you could possibly wish for when exploring Egypt's rich history and landscapes. Camping under the stars in the White Desert was magical. Minor hiccup with the scheduling, but nothing that impacted the overall experience.

    Ein wirklich unglaublicher Ausflug! Die Pyramiden von Gizeh zu sehen, war ein Traum. Die Nacht im weißen Wüstencamp war ein Abenteuer wie kein anderes. Auch die Betreuung durch die Guides war erstklassig. Absolut empfehlenswert!
