Our guide will collect you for a remarkable day exploring the Giza Pyramid Complex ( Khufu , Khafre, and Menkaure pyramids), then observe the Great Sphinx from antiquity. Stop at the Temple Ruins of the Valley . Lunch takes place at a local eatery near the Pyramid plateau. Proceed to the renowned Egyptian Museum to explore its extraordinary collection—more than 250,000 authentic pieces spanning millennia, with special emphasis on the Tutankhamun exhibition, featuring golden treasures and jewellery preserved within his sealed tomb for over 3,500 years prior to its 1920s discovery. Should you wish to view the Mummies Hall, consult your guide regarding the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (extra $30 per visitor). Continue through the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, the Middle East's most historic marketplace, navigating labyrinthine passages that hosted commerce since medieval times. The Grand Egyptian Museum opens soon. Back to your hotel for the evening.
Meals: Hotel breakfast & Restaurant lunch
3) Day 3 – Spiritual Cairo: Historic Churches and Mosques
After breakfast, embark on an immersive 8-hour orientation tour uncovering Cairo's most significant landmarks spanning Old Cairo and the historic Khan El Khalili marketplace's bustling alleys. Following collection from your lodging, ascend to the Saladin Citadel, constructed during the Crusades in 1183 AD atop Moqattam Hills to defend against invaders. This preserved fortress houses venerable mosques and museums, including the celebrated Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha. The mosque's alabaster dome beautifully contrasts Cairo's golden stone architecture, showcasing Turkish architectural brilliance. The Khan el-Khalili Bazaar—one of the world's oldest markets—represents centuries of commercial heritage flowing through winding passageways dating to the 14th century. Finally, visit Old Cairo to see the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, St. Barbara Church, and Abu Serga Church, among Christendom's most venerable Coptic structures. Overnight in Cairo
4) Day 4 – Journey to Aswan
Have breakfast at your hotel before heading to Cairo airport for your departure to Aswan. Upon arrival in Aswan, your personal guide will welcome you to commence your exploration. Transfer to your Nile cruise vessel for check-in. Today's highlights showcase Aswan's iconic destinations: the Philae Temple honoring the goddess Isis (constructed circa 690 BC as one of antiquity's final temples in classical Egyptian design), the Aswan High Dam (a colossal rock-filled structure at Egypt-Sudan's border, constructed 1960-1968, inaugurated 1971), and the Unfinished Obelisk (a 42-metre granite monument from Aswan's quarries demonstrating ancient Egyptian sculpting methods, weighing 1,168 tonnes—the heaviest stone object ever fashioned by ancient artisans). At noon, enjoy lunch aboard the cruise. At 4pm, embark on a felucca sailing excursion around Elephantine Island, visiting Lord Kitchener Island. Optional: explore an authentic Nubian village (2-hour immersion). Dine and rest onboard.
Meals: Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner
5) Day 5 – Abu Simbel's Monumental Temples
Breakfast and lunch are served aboard the cruise. Depart early for Abu Simbel. The twin temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari were hewn into mountain rock between 1274 and 1244 B.C. The larger temple honoured Ramses, Ra-Harakhty, Amun-Ra, and Ptah, featuring four colossal seated figures. The smaller temple was dedicated to Queen Nefertari and Hathor. Both were dismantled piece-by-piece and relocated to elevated ground—UNESCO's most celebrated preservation triumph. At 1pm, lunch aboard. Navigate to Kom Ombo, a Ptolemaic-era temple complex (332 B.C.–395 A.D.) dedicated to deities Sobek and Horus, situated 40 km north of Aswan. Set sail for Edfu with overnight berthing. Dine and sleep onboard.
Galabiya evening celebration party.
6) Day 6 – Temples of Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Esna
Board breakfast at your cruise vessel. Around 8am, visit Edfu by horse-drawn carriage. The Edfu Temple dominates Upper Egypt—a magnificently preserved sanctuary dedicated to Horus the Falcon God. Commissioned between Ptolemy III's reign (246 B.C.), the structure displays mythological narratives including the legendary Horus-Seth conflict, likely performed annually as sacred theatrical ritual. Return by 10am for cruise lunch. At 10:30am, navigate toward Luxor traversing the Esna lock. Arriving in Luxor at 6pm, visit the Luxor Temple. Luxor Temple construction was primarily commissioned by New Kingdom pharaoh Amenhotep III, completed by Tutankhamun and Ramses II. The first pylon displays Ramses II's Battle of Kadesh victory imagery. Dinner and rest onboard.
Optional: Sound & Light Karnak performance—$40 per person
7) Day 7 – Luxor's West Bank and Marsa Alam
Optional hot-air balloon experience above the Valley—$80 per guest. Breakfast aboard your vessel, then disembark. Discover the west bank of Luxor and Karnak . The Valley of the Kings—formerly called the Place of Truth—is a majestic necropolis housing royal pharaonic sarcophagi in a limestone-enclosed valley behind Deir el-Bahri. The Colossi of Memnon stand as towering vestiges—18-metre statues remaining from antiquity's grandest west-bank complex built by Amenhotep III. Hatshepsut's Temple ascends in magnificent terraces from the desert plain, seamlessly merging with golden limestone cliffs of Thebes' eastern facade. Karnak Temple transcends mere architecture—a spectacular sacred precinct of sanctuaries, pavilions, pylons, and obelisks honoring Theban deities and Egypt's pharaonic glory. Karnak functioned as Thebes' primary worship centre for the Triad (Amun, Mut, Khonsu). Lunch follows at a regional restaurant, then private air-conditioned transport conveys you to Marsa Alam . Upon arrival, check into your 5-star hotel.
