Satayah Reef (also known as Dolphin House) near Port Ghalib is one of the most celebrated dive and snorkel sites in the Southern Red Sea. It is renowned for its large resident school of spinner dolphins and its pristine, colourful coral reef.

Satayah has a permanent resident pod of spinner dolphins, making sightings very frequent. While sightings cannot be 100% guaranteed, the probability is very high — especially in the early morning when the dolphins rest in the lagoon. Most visitors have close encounters.

Satayah Reef is approximately 35 km south of Port Ghalib, reachable by speedboat in around 30–45 minutes. The boat journey is part of the experience, passing through the beautiful clear waters of the southern Red Sea.

Yes, full snorkelling equipment — mask, fins, and life vest — is included in the trip price. The equipment is well-maintained and sanitised between uses. Experienced guides are on hand throughout the trip to assist with technique and safety.
