Today is reserved for the coast. After breakfast, you can enjoy the resort's pools, private beach area and included dining, with plenty of time to read, swim or rest between meals. The pace is yours; no early sightseeing transfer is required.

If you choose to arrange an optional boat trip, snorkelling outing or other activity, our team can explain the available arrangements and what equipment is provided. Sea conditions and activity availability can vary, so the final plan is confirmed locally.

Return to the resort for dinner and another night by the coast. Keeping this day open gives you a proper break rather than turning the beach stay into a series of rushed excursions, and it leaves you rested for the cultural visits and travel ahead.

Enjoy a second unhurried day at the resort. You may start with breakfast, spend time beside the pool, or take a walk along the beach before the midday heat becomes stronger. The all-inclusive arrangement keeps the day simple, with meals available at the resort according to its operating schedule.

Travellers who want more activity can speak with our team about optional water sports or a Red Sea excursion. Those who prefer a quiet day can stay close to the resort and make use of the facilities instead. We do not build an unnecessary sightseeing stop into this part of the itinerary, because the beach stay is also intended for rest.

In the evening, prepare a small day bag for the next transfer and keep valuables and identification in your hand luggage. Your larger luggage will continue with you when you leave Hurghada for Aswan and board the cruise.

Your last full day in Hurghada gives you another chance to enjoy the resort without a packed programme. Have breakfast at your convenience, use the beach or pool, and leave time for lunch before returning to your room to rest. Resort services, meal times and included activities follow the property’s current schedule.

This is a useful day to organise your luggage for the change from a beach hotel to a river vessel. Pack comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, a light layer for air-conditioned spaces and any medication you may need during the transfer. Keep important documents and valuables with you rather than placing them in checked luggage.

Our team confirms the following day's transfer arrangements and helps with the checkout process. You spend your fourth night at the resort, then leave the Red Sea behind for the archaeological sites and slower rhythm of the Nile.

After breakfast and checkout, we arrange your transfer from Hurghada towards Aswan. This is a travel day, and the journey takes several hours depending on the road conditions and the final transport plan. Bring water, snacks if preferred and the essentials you need during the ride; your main luggage travels with you.

On arrival in Aswan, our team assists with the move to the vessel and the embarkation procedure. Your 3 nights on premium Nile cruise begin here, with time to settle into your cabin and learn the ship's meal and sailing schedule.

The first evening is generally calm. You can take in the river views from the deck, have dinner on board and rest after the road transfer. Sightseeing is arranged around the vessel's sailing programme, so the exact order of visits may be adjusted locally without changing the sites included in your tour.

Today brings the main Aswan visits. Depending on the operating schedule, you travel to the Abu Simbel Temples by arranged road transfer, usually leaving early so there is time to explore the monumental façades and inner chambers before returning to Aswan. The temples were carved during the reign of Ramesses II, and your guide explains their relocation and the scenes shown inside.

Back in Aswan, continue to the Temple of Isis, reached by boat on an island in the Nile. The sanctuary's courtyards, columns and reliefs give the visit a different scale from Abu Simbel. You also see the Aswan High Dam, an important modern engineering project, followed by the Incomplete Obelisk of Aswan, where the unfinished stone reveals how granite monuments were worked.

Return to the ship for lunch or rest, then enjoy the evening on board. Walking surfaces can be uneven at ancient sites, so comfortable shoes and sun protection are useful.

The ship sails north along the Nile, and the day's visits follow the river rather than requiring long road transfers. At Kom Ombo, leave the vessel to explore the Kom Ombo Temple with your guide. Its unusual double design reflects worship of two deities, and the riverside setting makes the surviving columns and reliefs easy to understand as you move through the complex.

Continue by cruise towards Edfu. After docking, an arranged transfer takes you to the Edfu Temple, one of the best-preserved large temples in Egypt. The monumental entrance and long carved walls give a clear idea of the original layout, while your guide points out details that are easy to miss when visiting independently.

Return to the vessel and continue towards Luxor. After dinner, you may visit Luxor Temple if the docking schedule allows, seeing its avenue, courtyards and illuminated columns in the cooler evening air. Otherwise, the visit is arranged at the next practical opportunity.

After breakfast, complete the cruise checkout and leave the vessel for Luxor's west bank. Your guide takes you into the Valley of the Kings, where you walk between the desert cliffs and enter the tombs open on the day of your visit. Tomb access can change, and your guide explains the decoration, burial customs and rules for protecting the painted surfaces.

Cross back towards the east bank for the Karnak Temple Complex. Allow time to walk through the Great Hypostyle Hall, see the obelisks and follow the processional route through one of Egypt's largest temple precincts. The scale is easier to appreciate with a guide who can explain how different rulers added to the site over many centuries.

After sightseeing, we arrange your transfer to the airport, railway station or onward accommodation, according to your confirmed travel plans. Keep your passport, phone and valuables with you during the final transfer, and allow extra time if your onward departure is scheduled soon after the tour.
