Your Itinerary

  • 1) Day 1: Travel from Hurghada to Cairo - Giza Monuments & Museum Exploration

Begin your adventure with an early morning 3:00 AM departure from your Hurghada hotel, embarking on an exciting 5-hour drive toward Cairo. Upon your arrival, an expert guide will lead you to the Pyramids of Giza, where you'll encounter the imposing monuments of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus, along with the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Afterward, savor a tasty meal at a charming eatery in Giza.

Afternoon brings you to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities located on Tahrir Square. Housing over 250,000 items, this institution showcases extraordinary collections from ancient Egypt, particularly the spectacular Tutankhamun collection—precious metals, ornaments, and valuables interred with the young pharaoh more than 3,500 years prior, unearthed in 1920.

For an extra charge, explore the Royal Mummies Hall at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (200 EGP). Note that the New Grand Egyptian Museum is anticipated to launch in 2021-2022.

Following your day of discovery, return to Hurghada for overnight rest. As an add-on, consider the Sound and Light Show at the Giza Pyramids ($40 per person) for a magical evening.

    Key Moments:

    • Tour the Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx, and Valley Temple
    • Tour the Egyptian Museum and view Tutankhamun's collection
    • Supplementary Royal Mummies Hall visit (additional 200 EGP)
    • Night accommodation in Hurghada
    • Supplementary Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids ($40 per person)
  • 2) Day 2: Hurghada to the White Desert – Bahariya Oasis & Valley of Agabat

06:00 AM-Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Giza or Hurghada. Enjoy a scenic 4-hour drive to Bahariya Oasis, located 350 km east of Hurghada. Along the way, we’ll make stops for bathroom breaks and coffee.

10:00 AM-Arrive at Bahariya Oasis, where you’ll board a 4x4 Jeep for an exciting ride to the Black Desert.

12:00 PM-Stop for a delicious lunch at El Haize Oasis, surrounded by the stark beauty of the desert.

01:00 PM-Continue your journey towards the Valley of Agabat, an incredible destination deep within the White Desert.

03:00 PM-Arrive at the Valley of Agabat, an extraordinary site that feels otherworldly. Millions of years ago, this area was underwater. Today, it’s home to unique rock formations made of limestone, chalk, and sand.

04:30 PM-Explore the surreal landscapes of the White Desert National Park, one of Egypt’s most famous desert destinations, known for its stunning natural beauty and distinctive formations.

05:30 PM-Set up camp and prepare to witness a mesmerizing sunset over the desert.

06:30 PM- As the sky shifts from pink to fiery orange, enjoy the peaceful silence of the desert. Gather around a small fire and savor a simple yet flavorful meal of chicken, rice, and vegetables. Your Bedouin hosts will prepare dinner and ensure a memorable desert camping experience under the stars.

  • 3) Day 3: Bahariya Oasis to Cairo - Sunrise, Crystal Mountain & Optional Tours

06:00 AM-Start your day early with a breathtaking sunrise over the desert.

07:00 AM-Enjoy a hearty breakfast in the desert before beginning the journey back to Bahariya Oasis.

09:00 AM-On the return trip, stop at Crystal Mountain (Gebel al-Izzaz), known as the "Jewel of the Desert." This natural crystal hill, formed by quartzite crystals, sparkles in the sunlight and offers a truly unique sight. Discovered by accident a few decades ago, it remains one of the desert's most stunning features.

11:00 AM-Continue the journey with a visit to Bir Sigam, a natural hot spring located 7 km east of Bahariya on the Hurghada road. The warm waters are perfect for relaxation. In the summer, the tour will visit Bir Madi, a cold spring instead.

12:00 PM-Drive back to Cairo, with an expected arrival at 16:30 PM. If you'd like to add lunch, it's available for an extra $15 per person.

    Optional Tours:

    1. History & Culture Tour of Bahariya Oasis - $35 per person
      (Single Traveler: $50)
For those who wish to dive deeper into the history of Bahariya Oasis, we recommend an additional tour to explore the Museum of the Golden Mummies, the Bawiti Tombs, and the Temple of Alexander the Great. Visit the tombs of Bannentiu and Djed-Ankh-Amun-Iuf (Zed-Amun) at Qasr Selim, discovered in 1938 by the archaeologist Ahmed Fakhry. Explore Bawiti, the capital of Bahariya Oasis, and the Temple of Ain El Muftella before enjoying lunch in Bahariya Oasis and continuing the drive to Cairo.

    2. Bahariya Oasis Extended Tour - $35 per person
      (Single Traveler: $50)
This 3-hour extended tour will take you through the beautiful palm and olive fields, to Gebel Maghrafa, where the largest dinosaur (Stromer's Tidal Giant) was discovered in 1914. Visit Lake al-Marun, the largest salt lake in the Oasis, and end your day with a sunset at the summit of English Mountain (Gebel Al Ingleez), where you’ll enjoy a panoramic view of the northern part of the oasis before heading back to Cairo.

  • 4) Day 4: Explore Old Cairo - Citadel, Coptic Churches & Khan el-Khalili Bazaar

On Day 4, your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza at 08:00 AM, where you’ll meet your expert Egyptologist tour guide. Your first stop is the historic Saladin Citadel, built by Salah al-Din in 1183 AD on the Moqattam Hills. The citadel was originally constructed to defend Cairo against Crusader forces. Today, it stands as a major historical site, offering breathtaking views of the city and housing several key attractions, including the stunning Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha. Designed by the Turkish architect Yousif Boushnaq, the mosque’s striking alabaster structure contrasts beautifully with Cairo’s sandstone buildings.

Afterward, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Old Cairo before continuing your exploration of this historic area. Visit iconic sites such as the Hanging Church, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the Church of St. Barbara. Don’t miss the Church of Abu Serga, one of the oldest Coptic churches in Cairo, offering a glimpse into Egypt's ancient Christian heritage.

Next, head to the famous Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest markets in the Middle East. This vibrant marketplace has been the heart of Cairo’s trade since the 14th century. Immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere and browse through a vast array of traditional goods, jewelry, spices, and souvenirs.

After a memorable day exploring Cairo's rich history and culture, you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your international departure.

Optional: If you'd like to extend your stay in Cairo and continue exploring, please feel free to contact us for personalized arrangements.

Consigliato!
