Upon landing at Cairo Airport, our representative team awaits your arrival to facilitate baggage processing and passport formalities at the terminal. You'll then be escorted via a contemporary air-conditioned coach to your beachfront accommodation in Hurghada for check-in and evening relaxation.
2) Day 2 - Giza Wonders & Museum Treasures
Departure from Hurghada towards Cairo to witness the remarkable Pyramids of Giza. Marvel at the colossal structure of the Great Pyramid of Khufu from the 4th dynasty, followed by exploration of Khafre's and Menkaure's pyramids. Proceed to the scenic overlook for unforgettable photographs capturing all three pyramids in one frame. Continue with a visit to the magnificent Great Sphinx and its Valley Temple. Next, tour the renowned Egyptian Museum featuring priceless Tutankhamun artifacts. Lunch at a traditional eatery with vegetarian alternatives available. Overnight accommodation in Cairo.
3) Day 3 - Desert Adventure at White Sands
Pickup at 07:00 from your Cairo or Giza hotel for the scenic journey to Bahariya Oasis, approximately 350 km distant (roughly 4-hour drive). Planned stops provide rest and refreshment opportunities. Transfer into your 4x4 jeep to explore the black desert region. Enjoy lunch at El Haize oasis before venturing into the breathtaking white desert National Park, Egypt's most renowned desert sanctuary. Travel onwards to the secluded Agabat Valley, nestled deep within the white desert . Experience the otherworldly terrain formed by ancient limestone and chalk deposits from primordial seas. As twilight arrives and the sky transforms to vivid orange hues, the landscape takes on an enchanting character. Dinner and overnight camping arranged by our Bedouin staff in the desert wilderness.
4) Day 4 - Oasis & Thermal Springs Return
Begin your morning with desert breakfast before returning towards Bahariya Oasis. Along the return route, pause to visit the stunning Crystal Mountain, locally known as Gebel al-Izzaz, a quartzite-formed hill gleaming brilliantly under sunlight. This remarkable geological feature was fortuitously discovered decades ago. Proceed to soak in the therapeutic warmth at Bir Sigam, a geothermal spring located 7 km east of Bahariya along the road to Cairo. This naturally heated spring provides relaxation after days of exploration. Return journey to Cairo. Optional: extend your oasis exploration with an additional night if preferred.
5) Day 5 - Alexandria's Classical Legacy
Travel to Alexandria (220 km / approximately 3 hours from Cairo). Explore significant Greco-Roman heritage sites within the city including: 1- The Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, carved into rocky hillsides in the Carmous district, exemplifying the 2nd-century AD fusion of Egyptian and Greco-Roman architectural styles. Discovered accidentally in 1900. 2- Pompey's Column, a massive 30-meter granite shaft dominating the ruins of ancient Rhakotis, the original settlement from which Alexandria evolved. This iconic monument, hewn from Aswan red granite with Corinthian capital, stands above the Temple of Serapeum's remnants. 3- Roman Amphitheatre Kom el Dikka, a well-preserved complex featuring 13 white-marble terraces, Egypt's sole surviving Roman amphitheatre. Originally a prosperous residential district with villas, baths, and theaters known as the Park of Pan. 4- Lunch at a traditional waterfront establishment offering panoramic views of the Citadel and fishing harbor. Additional afternoon attractions: Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a contemporary reimagining of the ancient Great Library, housing three museums, four art galleries, and a planetarium. The 2002-opened building features an eight-million-volume reading room. Fort Qaitbey, a 15th-century fortress built by Sultan Qaitbey, erected on the site of the legendary Lighthouse of Alexandria (one of the Seven Wonders). Stroll the scenic Corniche for Mediterranean vistas. Evening: return to Cairo. Board overnight sleeper train bound for Aswan.
6) Day 6 - Aswan's Monumental Splendor
Upon arrival at Aswan's railway station, your private guide will escort you through the city's premier attractions. Visit the Temple of Philae, built to honor goddess Isis, representing the last classical-style Egyptian temple constructed (initiated around 690 BC, representing one of the final goddess-worship centers). Tour Elephantine Island by traditional felucca sailboat. Observe the Aswan High Dam, a rock-filled dam constructed along the Egypt-Sudan border beginning in 1960 and completed in 1968 (officially inaugurated 1971), which created Lake Nasser. Marvel at the Unfinished Obelisk in the northern quarries, providing archaeological insight into ancient monument construction techniques. This 42-meter-long quartzite piece was never completed; had it been finished, it would have weighed approximately 1,168 tonnes—the heaviest stone block ever fashioned by ancient Egyptians. Lunch at a riverside restaurant with Nile vistas. Afternoon: check into your Aswan hotel. Overnight accommodation in Aswan.
7) Day 7 - Abu Simbel & Felucca Voyage
Begin early with your personal guide exploring Upper Egypt's treasures, specifically the Abu Simbel temples. Two magnificent structures were carved from the mountainside on the Nile's western bank between 1274–1244 BC. The larger temple honored Ramesses II, Ra-Harakhty, Amun-Ra, and Ptah, featuring four colossal royal statues. The secondary temple was dedicated to Queen Nefertari and the goddess Hathor. Both temples were methodically relocated stone-by-stone to higher ground, preserving them from inundation—an engineering triumph recognized as UNESCO's greatest preservation achievement. Return to Aswan for midday meal aboard a felucca. Experience the enchanting sailboat journey from Aswan southbound toward Kom Ombo for an overnight voyage. Evening dinner served on the felucca. Sleep aboard under starry skies on the traditional sailing vessel.
8) Day 8 - Edfu Sanctuary & Luxor Temple
Breakfast continues shipboard on the felucca before traveling onward to Edfu Temple. This Upper Egyptian site showcases a remarkably preserved sanctuary dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed deity. The Ptolemaic-era Horus temple (constructed during Ptolemy III's reign, 246 BC) was built atop an earlier sacred site. Wall inscriptions narrate the mythological conflict between Horus and Seth, likely performed annually as religious theater. Transfer to Luxor via Esna. Visit the magnificent Luxor Temple, primarily constructed by New Kingdom pharaoh Amenhotep III and finalized by King Tutankhamun and the great Ramesses II. The imposing first pylon was erected by Ramesses II and decorated with commemorations of his military victory at Kadesh. Overnight in Luxor.
9) Day 9 - Luxor's Pharaonic Wonders
Begin with breakfast aboard the Nile vessel, then explore Luxor's western bank and Karnak complex. The Valley of the Kings (once titled the Place of Truth) houses the subterranean tombs of pharaohs entombed in monumental stone sarcophagi, awaiting eternal life. The isolated valley beyond Deir el Bahari is dominated by a pyramid-shaped mountain. The Colossi of Memnon are two massive paired statues rising 18 meters from the plain—the surviving fragments of Amenhotep III's greatest western-bank complex. The Hatshepsut Temple emerges from the desert in dramatic terraced architecture, seemingly melding with the Theban mountain's limestone cliffs as though nature itself sculpted this masterwork. Karnak transcends a single temple—it's an expansive ceremonial complex encompassing sanctuaries, pavilions, pylons, and obelisks, all honoring the Theban deities and celebrating pharaonic majesty. Karnak was the preeminent worship center for the Theban Triad: Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. Depart for Hurghada. Overnight stay at a Hurghada resort.
10) Day 10 - Homeward Bound
Check out from your accommodation and transfer to Hurghada airport for your international departure. Should you wish to further your Hurghada experience, our team can arrange an extended resort stay.
