Khan el-Khalili historic marketplace is best seen on foot with your guide. Its narrow lanes lead past workshops, small cafés, spice sellers and souvenir stalls, giving you time to browse without turning the visit into a rushed shopping stop. Our team can explain local customs and help with directions, but what you buy is up to you. Regional cuisine tastings give you the chance to try familiar Egyptian dishes and ask your guide where locals usually eat.

The Fayoum oasis exploration shifts the day from city streets to open desert. In Whale Valley - El Hitan, fossilised whale remains show that an ancient sea once covered this area. A 4x4 desert safari adventure with dune experiences takes you beyond the paved road, with the route adjusted to local conditions. You can see the exposed desert landscape, stop for photographs and learn how the fossil area is protected.

The Fayoum day also includes the Wadi El Rayan lakes and Magical Lake waters, where open horizons and changing colours contrast with Cairo’s dense urban landscape. It is a full excursion, with time on the road and walking on sand or rough ground. The day suits travellers who want archaeology and culture alongside time outdoors; it is less suitable for anyone looking for a slow, resort-style break or who finds long vehicle journeys difficult.
