Things kick off with a private hotel pick-up in Hurghada aboard an air-conditioned vehicle. Once you reach Luxor, your professional guide will be waiting to walk you through some of the city's most legendary landmarks.
The day opens at the Temple of Karnak, the largest temple complex ever raised, sprawling across 247 acres. Take in the sheer scale of the architecture and hear the story behind generations of pharaohs and builders who shaped it. From there, head to Luxor Temple, once central to the Opet festival and built largely under Amenhotep III and Ramses II. Its rituals bridged the human and the divine, and that history still resonates through the site today.
A relaxed lunch by the Nile at a local restaurant gives you a chance to enjoy authentic Egyptian dishes while soaking in the riverside views. From there, you'll continue to the Valley of the Kings, burial ground of pharaohs spanning the 18th through 20th dynasties. Step into the remarkably preserved tombs of rulers like Ramses II and Tutankhamen, and take in the craftsmanship behind ancient Egyptian burial traditions.
Next comes Hatshepsut's Temple, celebrated for its striking three-tiered layout and standing as a monument to one of Egypt's most notable female pharaohs. To close out the sightseeing, you'll visit the Colossi of Memnon, two towering statues left behind from Amenhotep III's mortuary temple, offering a window into the scale of ancient Egyptian artistry.
With the day's exploring behind you, you'll head onward to Aswan for an overnight stay at the Basma Hotel, giving you time to unwind and take stock of everything you've seen.

2) Day 2: From Aswan to Abu Simbel, then Back to Hurghada
Set out on a remarkable trip to the majestic Abu Simbel temples, hewn from the mountainside between 1284 and 1244 B.C. Take in the grandeur of Ramses II’s Great Temple, dedicated to the powerful deities Ra-Harakhty, Amun Ra, and Ptah, its four colossal statues towering over the landscape. Explore the graceful temple of Queen Nefertari, devoted to the goddess Hathor. Both structures were painstakingly dismantled and moved to higher ground, a feat that showcases UNESCO's dedication to safeguarding Egypt's heritage.
Once you've taken in the splendor of Abu Simbel, you'll head back to Aswan in the afternoon. There, a satisfying lunch awaits before a visit to the iconic Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis and standing as the last stronghold of classical Egyptian architecture.
From there, marvel at the engineering achievement of the Aswan High Dam, a rock-fill dam that has reshaped the region since construction began in 1960. Take a look at the Unfinished Obelisk, a striking reminder of ancient Egyptian craftsmanship and monumental ambition. Measuring nearly 42 meters and weighing 1,168 tonnes, this remarkable block of stone still tells its own story.
To finish, sit back for the drive to Hurghada while you look back on an extraordinary day.
