Your exciting day begins with an early pickup from your hotel in Aswan at 04:00 AM. Enjoy a comfortable drive to Abu Simbel, where you'll arrive at 07:00 AM, ready to explore two of Egypt's most magnificent monuments.
Visit the Great Temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari, marveling at their grandeur and the fascinating history behind their relocation in 1960. Learn how the temples were moved with the help of the Egyptian government and UNESCO to avoid being submerged by the rising waters of the Nile. Admire the impressive mural of Ramses II’s victory at the Battle of Qadesh, and explore the small temple dedicated to Queen Nefertari, his beloved wife, showcasing stunning rock sanctuaries and intricate bas-reliefs.
Afterward, enjoy a traditional lunch aboard a Nile Felucca, providing you with a unique experience on the river.
In the afternoon, discover the highlights of Aswan, including a visit to the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. This temple, constructed around 690 BC, is the last to be built in the classical Egyptian style and was one of the final locations where the goddess was worshipped.
Next, sail by Felucca around Elephantine Island, enjoying the scenic beauty of the Nile. Then, head to the Aswan High Dam, a monumental project completed in 1971 that created Lake Nasser, one of the world's largest reservoirs. Learn about its importance and engineering.
Finally, visit the Unfinished Obelisk, where you’ll see a colossal obelisk nearly 42 meters long that was never completed. The site offers valuable insights into how the ancient Egyptians crafted their massive stone monuments. This obelisk, if finished, would have weighed 1168 tonnes, making it the largest and heaviest stone structure ever shaped by the ancient Egyptians.

3) Day 3: Kom Ombo Temple – Edfu Temple – Return to Hurghada.
After breakfast, depart for a visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo.
The Kom Ombo Temple, located 50 km north of Aswan, is unique among ancient Egyptian temples, as it is dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god of fertility, and Horus, the falcon-headed god of the sky. The temple is also renowned for its reliefs of surgical instruments, providing an early record of medicine and surgery in Ancient Egypt.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then proceed to visit the Edfu Temple.
The Edfu Temple, one of the largest and best-preserved Ptolemaic temples, is dedicated to Horus the Falcon. It is a grand structure, featuring numerous columns, halls, chambers, and chapels. Two impressive statues of Horus stand at the twin-towered entrance, and inside, an inscription lists the titles of the books (scrolls) that were once stored in the temple’s library.
After your visit, drive back to Hurghada, concluding your day of exploration.
