Your Itinerary
Our team collects you in Hurghada for the journey to Cairo and the day’s first visits. At the Giza Plateau, you see The Pyramids of Giza up close and have time to take in the scale of the ancient complex. Your guide explains how the pyramids were built, how the plateau developed, and where to stand for clear views across the site. You then continue to The Sphinx, whose lion body and human face are carved from the bedrock.
After the Giza visit, continue into central Cairo for The Egyptian Museum. The collection includes royal statues, funerary objects and everyday items from several periods of ancient Egyptian history. Your guide helps you focus on the main galleries rather than trying to see everything at once.
Later, transfer to the airport for your flight to Aswan. On arrival, our representative takes you to Basma Hotel for check-in and an overnight stay. The schedule is full, so the evening is kept free for rest before the early excursion on day two.
After breakfast, leave Aswan for Abu Simbel temples, travelling south through the desert towards Lake Nasser. The journey takes several hours each way, but the time on the road leads to one of Egypt’s most important temple complexes. At the site, you see the four colossal figures of Ramses II outside the Great Temple, then enter halls and sanctuaries decorated with reliefs of the king and the gods.
Return to Aswan and continue to The High Dam, the major engineering project that changed irrigation, electricity generation and the level of the Nile. Your guide explains why several ancient monuments had to be moved when Lake Nasser was created.
From there, take a short boat ride to Agilkia Island for Phiala Temple, dedicated mainly to Isis.
