Cairo, Aswan and Abu Simbel two-day tour from Marsa Alam

An A1toureg representative collects you from your hotel in Marsa Alam and transfers you to Hurghada Airport, a drive of about 2 hours 30 minutes. From there you'll fly to Cairo, where our representative meets and assists you. Your tour guide then collects you from your hotel in Cairo for an excursion to the Pyramids of Giza ( Cheops , Chephren , and Mykerinus ), followed by the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple . Lunch is served near the Pyramids at a local Giza restaurant, then you'll head to the Egyptian Museum , the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities in Tahrir, home to a rare collection of over 250,000 genuine artifacts dating back 5000 years, including an exclusive Tutankhamen exhibit — treasure, gold and jewelry buried with him for over 3,500 years until discovered in 1920. Should you wish to see the mummies royal hall, ask your guide to arrange a visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization for an added fee of 200 Egyptian Pounds.
The new Grand museum has not opened yet, with an anticipated opening near the end of 2021 or in 2022. From Cairo you'll fly to Aswan, arriving and transferring to the Basma Hotel for an overnight stay

An early pickup from your Aswan hotel at 04:00 takes you by air-conditioned vehicle to Abu Simbel, roughly a 3-hour drive. The two temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari were carved into the mountain on the Nile's west bank between 1274 and 1244 B.C.; the Great Temple honors Ramses II, Ra-Harakhty, Amun Ra, and Ptah with 4 colossal statues, while the smaller temple was dedicated to Queen Nefertari and Goddess Hathor. Both were dismantled stone by stone and reassembled on higher ground — their preservation stands as one of UNESCO's greatest achievements. On the way back you'll pass the Aswan High Dam (Nasser Dam): a rock-fill dam on the northern border between Egypt and Sudan, fed by the Nile and forming Lake Nasser; construction ran from 1960 to 1968 and was officially inaugurated in 1971. Around 13:00 you'll return from Abu Simbel temple, with lunch served in Aswan. Afterward you'll visit Philae temple, the last temple built in the classical Egyptian style in honor of the goddess Isis, with construction starting around 690 BC as one of the final outposts of her worship. At 16:00 there's a felucca sail around Elephantine Island, with an optional trip to the Nubian Village.
The Nubian village is one of Aswan's attractions, well worth a two-hour visit. Authentic, colorful, and artistic, the Nubian Village will surprise you at every turn — walking its streets, you'll instantly feel the soul of the place!
