2) Day 2 - Karnak & Luxor Temple Wonders
Depart your Marsa Alam hotel this morning and drive to Luxor by private vehicle. Board your luxury Nile cruise and enjoy lunch onboard. This afternoon, explore the magnificent East Bank temples, starting with Karnak Temple — an awe-inspiring sanctuary complex featuring sanctuaries, kiosks, towering pylons, and ornate obelisks all honoring the Theban gods and pharaonic glory. Karnak was the holiest worship site for the Theban Trinity (Amun, Mut, and Khonso). Next, visit the striking Luxor Temple — largely constructed during the New Kingdom under Pharaoh Amenhotep III, completed by King Tutankhamon and the legendary Ramses II. The first pylon showcases Ramses II's triumphant military conquest at Kadesh. Dinner and overnight aboard your cruise in Luxor .
3) Day 3 - Valley of Kings & Royal Heritage
Rise early for breakfast aboard your Nile cruise. Today you'll discover the legendary West Bank, home to Egypt's most sacred burial grounds. Start with the Valley of the Kings: Once known as the Great Place of Truth, this secluded valley holds the eternal resting places of ancient pharaohs entombed in magnificent stone sarcophagi. The valley lies behind Deir el-Bahri, dominated by a striking pyramid-shaped mountain peak. The Colossi of Memnon: Marvel at these colossal twin statues rising 18 meters from the plain — remnants of what was once the largest temple complex on the West Bank, built by Pharaoh Amenhotep III. The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut: Carved from desert limestone in graceful terraces, this remarkable sanctuary merges seamlessly with the towering cliffs of the Theban mountainside, as if nature herself had constructed this extraordinary monument. At 13:00, sail toward Esna Lock with lunch en route. Arrive at Esna at 18:00, then continue to Edfu. Dinner and overnight aboard your cruise in Edfu.
4) Day 4 - Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples
Enjoy breakfast aboard the cruise at 07:00 and visit the Temple of Edfu Edfu Temple : This spectacular Upper Egyptian site showcases a magnificently preserved temple dedicated to Horus, the falcon god. The Ptolemaic Temple of Horus was constructed atop an earlier sacred site, dating to the reign of Ptolemy III (246 B.C.). The temple walls bear inscriptions depicting the legendary Myth of Horus and Seth — a mythological conflict, likely reenacted annually as a sacred religious drama. At 09:30, sail toward Kom Ombo. Lunch is served aboard at 12:30 during the journey. Arrive at Kom Ombo at 15:30 and explore the Temple of Kom Ombo Kom Ombo Temple : Located 40 kilometers north of Aswan, this fascinating site was dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus. The temple dates primarily to the Ptolemaic and Roman periods (332 B.C. – 395 A.D.). Resume sailing toward Aswan at 17:30, with dinner service during the voyage. Arrive in Aswan at 21:00 and overnight aboard the cruise.
5) Day 5 - Aswan Highlights
Breakfast aboard the cruise at 08:00. Today explore the wonders of Aswan, including the iconic Temple of Philae and scenic felucca sailings around Elephantine Island, plus visits to the High Dam and Unfinished Obelisk. Philae Temple: Built in honor of Isis, the goddess of magic and rebirth, this was the final temple constructed in classical Egyptian architectural style. Construction commenced around 690 B.C., and it served as one of the last sacred sanctuaries where the goddess was venerated by devoted worshippers. The High Dam: The Aswan High Dam is a massive rock-fill barrier located at the northern boundary between Egypt and Sudan. Fed by the mighty Nile River, the dam creates Lake Nasser, one of the world's largest reservoirs. Constructed between 1960 and 1968, it was officially inaugurated in 1971. The Unfinished Obelisk : Aswan was home to ancient Egypt's most exquisite granite deposits, quarried for statues and ornamentation of temples, pyramids, and obelisks. The colossal unfinished obelisk in the Northern Quarries offers fascinating insights into pharaonic construction techniques, though the complete process remains partially mysterious. Three sides of this 42-meter shaft were completed except for final inscriptions. At full completion, this obelisk would have weighed 1,168 tonnes — the heaviest single stone ever shaped by Egyptian craftsmen. Lunch aboard at 12:00. Dinner and overnight on your cruise.
6) Day 6 - Abu Simbel Wonder
Begin your day with breakfast aboard your cruise. Join an optional excursion to witness Abu Simbel Abu Simbel Temples:
Two monumental temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari were painstakingly carved from living rock on the Nile's west bank between 1274 and 1244 B.C. The Great Temple was consecrated to Ramses II, Ra-Harakhty, Amun Ra, and Ptah, adorned with four colossal statues of the pharaoh. The second sanctuary honored Queen Nefertari and the goddess Hathor. In a remarkable feat of modern archaeology, both temples were meticulously disassembled stone-by-stone and relocated to higher ground, away from the rising waters of Lake Nasser. This UNESCO-led preservation initiative ranks as one of the greatest achievements in the history of cultural heritage protection. Dinner and overnight aboard your cruise in Aswan.
7) Day 7 - Coastal Leisure
