The Unfinished Obelisk Aswan was the source of ancient Egypt’s finest granite, used to make statues and embellish temples, pyramids, and obelisks. The large unfinished obelisk in the Northern Quarries has provided valuable insight into how these monuments were created, although the full construction process is still not entirely clear. Three sides of the shaft, nearly 42m long, were completed except for the inscriptions.     Dieser Urlaub war fantastisch! Von den Pyramiden von Gizeh bis zur Kreuzfahrt auf dem Nil war alles perfekt. Besonders begeistert hat mich das Ägyptische Museum in Kairo. Empfehlenswert für jeden, der eine kulturelle und entspannende Reise sucht.

    I thoroughly enjoyed this tour! The sightseeing was incredible, especially the visit to the Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum. The Nile Cruise was luxurious and the perfect way to end each day. Marsa Alam provided a peaceful retreat. Would definitely do it again.

    The best Christmas Holiday I've ever had! The combination of Cairo, Nile cruise, and Marsa Alam is perfect. Visiting the Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum was a dream come true. The night train was a unique experience and added to the adventure. Highly recommended!
