Great day out exploring Edfu and Kom Ombo temples. The architecture and historical significance were just incredible. The guide was informative, although the day was quite long. However, it's a must-do if you're in Marsa Alam.

1) Hotel to Kom Ombo Temple
Pick up from your hotel heading to Kom Ombo temple via Edfu temple , a drive of about 4 hours 15 minutes. Visit Kom Ombo The temple : The temple and its surrounding settlement sit 40 K.m north of Aswan; it was devoted to the deities Sobek and Horus and dates chiefly to the Ptolemaic and Roman period(332 B.b -395 A.c)

3) Touring Edfu Temple
Following lunch, head to the Edfu temple Edfu temple An Upper Egyptian site centered on a large, well-preserved temple dedicated to the hawk-god Horus. Construction of this Ptolemaic temple, raised on the site of a much earlier one, dates to the period beginning with the reign of Ptolemy the Third(246 B.c). Wall carvings depict the Myth of the contending of Horus and Seth(likely re-enacted yearly as a religious drama.
