Your Itinerary
Our team collects you from your hotel in Port Ghalib for the road transfer to Cairo. After meeting your guide, begin at The Pyramids of Giza, where you walk around the pyramid complex and hear how the royal tombs were planned and built. Continue to The Sphinx, whose lion body and human head face the pyramid plateau. Allow time for photographs and for your guide to explain the main viewpoints before leaving the site.
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant, then visit The Egyptian Museum in central Cairo. The collection includes pharaonic statues, jewellery, coffins and objects arranged across the museum galleries, so your guide can focus the visit on the most important rooms within the time available. After the Cairo visits, transfer to the airport for the flight to Aswan. Travel from Aswan to the Abu Simbel temples, usually by road in the early morning.
