You will reach Giza at 8:30 am First, you will explore the Great Pyramid of Giza (also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops ) which stands as the oldest and most massive of all the pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to survive largely undamaged to the present day.
The great pyramid was constructed as a tomb for the Fourth Dynasty Egyptian pharaoh Khufu and estimates suggest it was built in the 26th century BC over a span of approximately 27 years. Originally towering at 146.5 meters (481 feet), the Great Pyramid held the record as the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years. Over the centuries, most of the polished white limestone casing was stripped away, reducing the pyramid's height to the current 138.5 meters. The visible structure today is the inner core construction. The base measures approximately 230.3 meters (755.6 ft) on each side, yielding a volume of around 2.6 million cubic meters (92 million cubic feet), which encompasses an internal hillock
