  • 1) Day 1 - Marsa Alam to Luxor

At 04:00 Am we collect you from Marsa Alam by private air-conditioned taxi bound for Luxor .You will meet your guide in Luxor then drive on to Visit Luxor and visit Karnak temple: The Temple of Karnak is the largest ancient religious site known anywhere on Earth; no site in Egypt impresses more than Karnak . It stands as the largest temple complex ever raised by human hands, representing the combined efforts of countless generations of ancient builders and Pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak is in fact three main temples spread across 247 acres. Cross the Nile by motorboat to the west bank of Luxor . Lunch at a local restaurant on the west bank, then the valley of the Kings: The Valley of the Kings, final resting place of Egypt's rulers from the 18th to the 20th dynasty, holds tombs including that of the great Pharaoh Ramses II and boy Pharaoh Tutankhamen. These tombs were richly stocked with material goods a ruler might need in the afterlife, and much of the interior decoration remains well preserved. If you wish, you may visit the Tomb of the young Pharaoh Tutankhamon. The Temple of Hatshpsut Temple of Hatshepsut ranks among the most beautiful and best-preserved of all Ancient Egypt's temples, found at Luxor . Built on three levels joined by two wide central ramps, it rises from the desert plain in a series of terraces. The temple of Hatshepsut blends with the sheer limestone cliffs of the Theban Mountain's eastern face as though nature herself had shaped this extraordinary monument. The Colossi Of Memnon:
The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues of king Amenhotep III, the sole remains of a once-complete mortuary temple. Carved from blocks of quartzite sandstone quarried near Cairo and hauled 700 km to Luxor , these statues rise about 18 m from the plain and are the last traces of what was once the largest complex on the west bank, built by Amenhotep III. Around noon you'll have lunch at a local restaurant in Luxor , then visit the Temple of Karnak , the largest ancient religious site anywhere. Drive on to Aswan from Luxor - overnight in Aswan

  • 2) Day 2 - Abu Simbel to Aswan

Pickup at 04:00 Am from your hotel in Aswan - we'll arrange a breakfast box from the hotel beforehand. Then it's on to Abu Simbel, 280 k.m south of Aswan. Abu Simbel temples: The two temples of Ramses the second and Queen Nefertari were carved out of the mountain on the west bank of the Nile between 1274 and 1244 B.c. The Great Temple honored Ramses the second, Ra-Harakhty, Amun Ra, and Ptah, with 4 colossal statues, while the second temple was dedicated to Queen Nefertari and Goddess Hathor; both temples were dismantled stone by stone and rebuilt on higher ground, and preserving the two temples of Abu Simbel must rank among Unesco's greatest achievements. Lunch at a local restaurant in Aswan, after which you'll visit the Phiala temple: built to honor the goddess Isis, this was the last temple raised in the classical Egyptian style. Construction began around 690 BC, marking one of the final outposts where the goddess was worshipped. The high dam: Aswan High Dam is a rock-fill dam on the northern border between Egypt and Sudan, fed by the River Nile, with its reservoir forming Lake Nasser. Construction began in 1960 and finished in 1968, with official inauguration in 1971. The Unfinished Obelisk :
Aswan supplied ancient Egypt's finest granite, used for statues and to embellish temples, pyramids, and obelisks. The large unfinished obelisk in the Northern Quarries offers valuable insight into how these monuments were fashioned, though the full construction process remains somewhat unclear. Three sides of the shaft, nearly 42m long, were finished except for the inscriptions; at 1168 tonnes, the completed obelisk would have been the single heaviest stone piece the Egyptians ever shaped. At 16:00, a Felucca sail around Elephantine Island and a visit to Lord Kitchener Island - optional tour to the nubian village: You can book an optional trip to the Nubian village, one of Aswan's attractions, well worth 2 hours of your time. The place feels genuinely authentic, colorful and artistic - the Nubian Village will surprise you at every turn! Walking through the village, you'll instantly sense its soul! Overnight in Aswan

  • 3) Day 3 - Kom Ombo and Edfu then back to Marsa Alam

After breakfast, drive from Aswan to Kom Ombo to visit the temple of Kom Ombo. The temple and its associated settlement site, located 40 k.m north of Aswan, was dedicated to the deities Sobek and Horus and dates mainly to the Ptolemaic and Roman periods (332 B.b -395 A.c). Continue on to visit Edfu temple Edfu temple :
an Upper Egyptian site dominated by a large, well-preserved temple dedicated to the hawk-god Horus. Construction of this Ptolemaic temple of Horus, founded on the site of a much earlier temple, dates from the period between the reigns beginning with Ptolemy the Third (246 B.c); the wall descriptions include the Myth of the contending of Horus and Seth (probably performed annually as a religious drama). Lunch will be served in Luxor before driving to Marsa Alam Hotel

Yes, pickup can be arranged from hotels in both Marsa Alam and Port Ghalib. The early departure (04:00 AM) applies equally to both pickup points, so you'll still reach Luxor in time for the day's sightseeing.

Hotel breakfasts are provided on all 3 mornings. Lunches are usually included at local restaurants near the main sightseeing areas, while dinners are generally left to your own choice among the many local restaurants in Luxor and Aswan.

Temple visits call for moderate walking across uneven stone ground. The Valley of the Kings involves moving between tombs, sometimes over gentle slopes, though this remains manageable for most fitness levels. We strongly suggest comfortable, closed-toe shoes.
