Abu Dabbab Bay sits roughly 30 km north of Marsa Alam and about 5 km from Port Ghalib. The drive from either Marsa Alam or Port Ghalib hotels takes around 30 minutes, with pickup scheduled at 07:30 AM.
Abu Dabbab is equally renowned for its resident green sea turtles, frequently seen resting on the sea grass beds or gliding near the surface. Expect colorful reef fish, moray eels, and striking coral formations too.

We collect you from your hotel in Port Ghalib or Marsa Alam at 07.30 am; the drive to Abo Dabab bay lasts about 30 minutes
2) Reaching Abu Dabab
On reaching Abu Dabab, you'll find a gorgeous snorkeling and dive spot in the Marsa Alam area. Its coral edges teem with colorful fish perfect for snorkeling. The bay's sandy shoreline with seagrass beds and crystal-clear, warm waters shelters a rich mix of colorful fish, Green Turtles, and the endangered Dugong, which occasionally drops by the sheltered bay to graze on seagrass; snorkeling equipment is provided here.
3) Snorkeling program begins
The snorkeling program kicks off with about 1 hour and a half devoted to the first drop-off.
