1) Cairo and Giza Pyramids excursion from Sahl Hasheesh
An A1toureg representative will collect you from your hotel in Sahl Hasheesh at 03:00 a.m. for an air-conditioned drive to Cairo — roughly 500 km away, taking about 6 hours. On arrival you will be welcomed by our local representative. Your Egyptologist guide will then lead you to marvel at the superb Pyramids of Cheops , Chephren and Mykerinus , the Sphinx bearing a pharaoh's face on a lion's body from the era of King Chephren, and the Valley Temple of Chephren's Pyramid. Break for lunch at a local Cairo restaurant before continuing to the Egyptian Museum , home to extraordinary Pharaonic treasures. The museum holds a priceless 5,000-year collection — the most comprehensive Egyptian art collection in existence. Among its 250,000-plus authentic pieces is the famed Tutankhamun display, whose gold, jewellery and treasures lay sealed in his tomb for over 3,500 years until the 1920s excavation. Proceed to Islamic Cairo to wander through Khan El Khalili, the city's famous historic bazaar.
