Nefertari seascope boat excursion with dinner from Marsa Alam

Our A1toureg representative collects you from your hotel in Marsa Alam at 14.00 and drives to Port Ghalib's new marina, home to the “Nefertari” submarine. On arrival you'll receive a welcome drink on the upper deck; the boat sets sail at 15.30, and after about 15 minutes, once the coral reefs come into view, you can head down to the air-conditioned underwater observation deck. Our Captain has years of expertise in finding the best marine-life viewing spots, and a friendly guide-narrator will accompany you, sharing interesting facts and true stories about the local sea life you encounter. The boat is spotless and well maintained, with toilets available onboard. If you'd rather relax on the upper deck above the waterline, you'll find lovely Pharaonic-style seating — most boats offer partial shade, though you can opt for a sunnier seat to work on your tan. Then enjoy an hour of snorkelling — bring your towels along if you plan to join in. About the Nefertari boat

Nefertari, meaning 'beautiful companion', ranks among the most celebrated Egyptian queens alongside Cleopatra, Nefertiti, and Hatshepsut . Now a touch of that beauty can be found right at our international marina's harbour, as the “Nefertari” submarine has recently arrived at our city's port to make it her permanent home. She belongs to “Egypt Sun Marine”, a well-known company operating a large submarine fleet across Hurghada , Safaga, Sharm El Sheikh, Taba, Dahab, Cairo, and Alexandria , delivering well-organized, varied boat trips. She was engineered and built by the Egyptian company's own team and launched from Safaga's port.

She was specifically dedicated to Port Ghalib, crafted in the Pharaonic style, to become the first submarine of her kind in the Red Sea — tailor-made for Port Ghalib after the approval of every design by the Marina director, Captain Sherif Fawzi.

The company's management selected Port Ghalib as the final launch destination for the new submarine, owing to the marina's strong potential, the elevated profile of its tourists and visitors, the city's own architectural character, and its position along the Red Sea. “Working alongside the Marina Department, particularly Captain Sherif Fawzi, was more than wonderful,” noted Mr Hisham Khalel, the boat's manager. “He smoothed the entire process for us, and together with Mr Mohamed Nasr secured the ideal spot for the submarine,” Mr Hisham added. Nefertari runs morning sea trips introducing visitors to the treasures of the Red Sea, fully equipped with snorkelling gear; by night, she becomes a splendid floating restaurant and café, letting guests take a night cruise inside Marina Port Ghalib while enjoying a flawless sunset dinner.
