Your Itinerary

A1toureg Representative will collect you from your Hotel in Makadi for the Drive to Makadi Marina. On arrival, you will be taken to the Boat Jetty to board your boat. Then setting sail towards Giftun Island, part of the preserved National Park on the Red Sea and enjoy a delicious barbecue meal onboard including freshly grilled fish. The Captain will then drop anchor at a private sandy beach with time allowed to swim, snorkel, dive or just relax and do some sunbathing then sailing back to the Jetty for your return transfer to your Hotel in Makadi Red Sea.

Giftun Island is approximately 10 km offshore from Hurghada, and the boat journey from Makadi Bay takes around 45–60 minutes. The boat ride is part of the experience, with beautiful sea views along the way.

Giftun Island has basic beach facilities including sun loungers and umbrellas on the sandy beach. Toilet facilities are available on the boat. There are no permanent shops or restaurants on the island itself, so bring cash for any extras.

The tour typically departs in the morning around 8:30–9:00 and returns to Makadi Bay by late afternoon, around 16:00–17:00. The full day gives you ample time for snorkelling, relaxing on the beach, and enjoying the island.
