Abu Dabbab is one of the most famous dive sites in the Red Sea and of all of Egypt . It is one of the few places in the world where you can dive with the very rare and endangered Dugong aka the Sea Cow. In fact, there are two resident Dugongs in the Abu Dabbab bay named Dennis and Dougal. This dive site also features friendly giant Green Sea Turtles that you can swim with up close and personal. In the shallow water, it is not rare to spot the bizarre looking but completely harmless Guitar Shark. In addition to the big stuff, there are also superb macro subjects such as the Ornate Ghost Pipefish, the rare thorny seahorse and the delicate Hairy Pygmy Pipehorse! All this Exceptional and Rare marine life makes Abu Dabbab a very special spot and a must dive for anyone visiting El Gouna .

1) pick-up from hotel in El Gouna

We will pick you up from your hotel in Port Ghalib or El Gouna at 07.30 am, It takes 30 minutes driving to Abo Dabab bay
2) Arrival to Abu Dabab

Arrival to Abu Dabab, Abo Dabab bay is a beautiful snorkeling and dive sites in the area of El Gouna . It has Coral sides with Plenty of Colored fishes where you can Snorkel. the bay has a sandy beach with Seagrass with crystal clear and warm water hosts a great variety of colored fish, Green Turtles and the endangered Dugong that occasionally visits the sheltered bay to feed on the seagrass receive the Snorkeling Equipment.
3) Start Snorkeling program

Start Snorkeling program consists of about 1 Hour & half for the first Drop Off.
4) Rest at the beach

Snorkeling at Abu Dabbab was an absolute dream! The water was so clear, and I got to swim alongside sea turtles and even spotted a dugong. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Red Sea.

Der Ausflug zum Abu Dabbab Bay war einfach fantastisch! Ich hatte nie gedacht, dass ich einmal mit Seekühen schnorcheln würde. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Прекрасный тур! В Абу Даббаб я впервые увидела дюгоней и морских черепах под водой. Вода теплая и спокойная, очень советую всем любителям снорклинга.

Un'esperienza fantastica, nuotare con le tartarughe marine ad Abu Dabbab! L'acqua è poco profonda e la baia è protetta dal vento, perfetto per lo snorkeling. Assolutamente da fare se siete sul Mar Rosso.
