July 29, 2024, 10:53 a.m.Un tour meraviglioso! Le guide erano molto esperte e siamo stati completamente immersi nella storia egizia. Le piramidi e la Sfinge erano spettacolari, e il Museo Egizio era affascinante. Alessandria ha aggiunto un tocco speciale alla nostra visita.
1) Day 1: Luxor to Cairo
Embark on a thrilling Two-day expedition with A1toureg, where every moment is a step back in time. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by our representative who will introduce you to your tour guide. You'll then be whisked away to explore the ancient Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. Next, marvel at the Great Sphinx, a mythical creature with a human head and a lion's body, dating back to the time of Chephren. Your exploration continues with a visit to the Valley Temple, associated with the Pyramids of Chephren. After immersing yourself in history, enjoy a delightful lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo. Post-lunch, prepare to be mesmerized by the treasures of the Egyptian Museum, which houses artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum showcases a rare collection of art spanning 5000 years, making it the world's largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian art. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are on display.
Your journey through time continues as you move onto Coptic Cairo, delving into the Christian and Jewish heritage through the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. The adventure doesn't stop here; drive to Islamic Cairo to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo's old bazaar. As the day concludes, retire to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.
