The tour departs directly from your hotel in Sahel Hashesh. A guide will collect you and take you to the buggy station to begin your adventure.
The buggy ride itself lasts around one hour. Including hotel pick-up and drop-off, expect the total outing to take approximately 2 to 3 hours from start to finish.
No prior experience is needed at all. Every buggy ride begins with a thorough safety briefing from your guide, and you will have a test drive to get comfortable before heading out into the desert.
Opt for comfortable, casual clothes you would not mind getting dusty. Closed-toe footwear is recommended. Bring sunglasses, a scarf or bandana to cover your face from the sand, sunscreen, and a bottle of water for the journey.
I had a great time on the Car Buggy Safari. The desert drive was thrilling, and learning about the Bedouin culture was enlightening. The camel ride at sunset was wonderful, but I wished it lasted a bit longer. Still, a fantastic experience overall!

After collection from your hotel, you will head to the Car Buggy station to complete a practice drive before setting off 35 km across the desert to a Bedouin village. You will learn about Bedouin customs and traditions, enjoy a camel ride, and watch the stunning desert sunset while savouring a barbecue dinner, mineral water, and soft drinks.
