Yes, the bus is a modern air-conditioned coach with comfortable seats. Though the journey is about 4.5–5 hours each way, the coach is equipped for long-distance travel. Stops are made along the way for bathroom breaks. Reclinable seats and on-board water make it manageable.
Flying is faster and maximises time in Cairo — ideal for those who prefer convenience. The bus option is significantly cheaper and allows you to enjoy Egypt's desert landscapes. For elderly travelers or those with back issues, the flight version is more recommended. The choice depends on budget and preference.
The bus typically departs from Makadi hotels between 3:00–4:00 AM. This very early start is necessary to reach Cairo by morning and allow a full day of sightseeing before the return journey in the evening. Hotel pickup times will be confirmed upon booking.
Children can join the bus tour but should be prepared for the early starts and long driving hours. Children 5 and under may struggle with the pace. Ages 6 and above generally manage well with books, tablets, and snacks for entertainment during the drive. Child car seats are not provided on coaches.

You will be escorted by a Police convoy, On the way, we stop in Zaharana after a 250 K.m Drive from Hurghada for the first break You will meet our Egyptologist guide at Giza to discover the exquisite Pyramids of Cheops , Chephren, and Mykerinus , the Sphinx with a head of a pharaoh and a lion's body, which dates back to the reign of King Chephren, and the Valley Temple of the Pyramid of Chephren. Proceed to have your lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo.
Then you will move on to the Egyptian Museum which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen's collection of treasure, gold, and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated. Continue driving to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar. Then you will Drive back to your hotel in Makadi From Cairo.
