1) Day tour to Petra from Aqaba port
Depart to Petra for a full day visit of the city. Start the visit of the ancient Nabatean capital on horseback and then take a walk through the Siq, a long narrow fissure between two overhanging cliffs and proceed to gradually unfold the mysteries of the Rose-Red City with its spectacular treasury, Royal Tombs, burial chambers and High Place of Sacrifice. Enjoy a tour of this UNESCO Heritage-listed wonder with a local guide. First, walk through the famous “Siq”, a narrow path of 1.2-kilometer rock fissure that was once the main entrance to the city. Marvel at your first glimpse of the hauntingly beautiful Treasury “Al - Khazneh” as the canyon suddenly opens up. Admire this rose-pink masterpiece, originally built to house priceless treasures. Walk through the widening canyon to witness other monuments such as the 3,000-seat theater called the Royal Tombs, and the Byzantine Church. as your guide describes how the Nabateans sculpted the buildings.
